DEMOCRACY OR CAPITALISM?

DEMOCRACY GUARANTEES LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.  CAPITALISM WANTS TO MAKE MORE MONEY FOR INVESTORS.
 
DO YOU THINK THAT THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE WOULD WANT ALL PEOPLE TO PROSPER (DEMOCRACY) OR THE RICH GET RICHER ON THE BACKS OF THE POOR?  WHY IS IT THAT EVEN THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND CORPORATIONS WANT UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE?  SO THAT THEY CAN COMPETE WITH OTHER COUNTRIES THAT PROVIDE SECURITY FOR ALL CITIZENS.
 
I TELL YOU IF WE INVEST IN ANYTHING BUT AMERICA (GOD’S CHOSEN NATION TO BRING LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS TO ALL PEOPLE) WE WILL LOSE.
 
WE MUST UNDERSTAND THE EVILS OF CAPITALISM (MAKING MONEY OFF ANOTHER’S BACK) IF WE ARE TO SURVIVE.  HOW CAN WE GO TO WAR IN IRAQ TO PROTECT OUR OIL SUPPLY WHILE IGNORING THE SUFFERING AND DYING IN AFRICA, SUDAN , ETC.?  HOW CAN WE SLEEP IN A NICE, COMFORTABLE BED WITH 3 MEALS A DAY AND HEALTH CARE WHEN THERE ARE HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEPING IN ALLEYS WITH THEIR YOUNG CHILDREN?  DIDN’T JESUS TEACH THAT WE ARE TO LEAVE THE 99 TO GO AFTER THE 1 WHO NEEDS US?
 
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE BEING SOLD BY PEOPLE STIRRING PROBLEMS TO INCREASE RATINGS; TELLING HALF LIES.  LISTEN TO THE HYPOCRITE GOVERNORS THAT ARE TURNING DOWN A STIMULUS TO HELP THE POOR AND SCHOOLS.

THE DEVELOPING FAITH OF OUR FOREFATHERS…

When we study the ancient scriptures wouldn’t it help to remember that they were written by inspired people for the understanding of those of that time.  SURELY THE ULTIMATE ETERNAL BEING IS ALWAYS CHANGING AND ADJUSTING TO THE CONDITIONS OF HIS CREATION AND THE LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING TO THOSE HE IS CREATING.  THE ULTIMATE PRIME BEING REVEALS MORE LIGHT AS OUR INTELLIGENCE GROWS TO UNDERSTAND IT.
 
WHEN THE SON OF GOD IN HUMAN FORM WAS RETURNING TO GOD IN HIS ETERNAL SPIRIT HE STATED THAT HE WOULD SEND US THE HOLY SPIRIT TO COMFORT , LEAD AND REVEAL TO US TRUTHS AS WE ARE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THEM.
 
DO WE MISS  OUT ON WHAT GOD IS TRYING TO REVEAL TO US TODAY BY WORSHIPING THE ANCIENT SCRIPTURES?

It’s comforting and reassuring to know that regardless of how mankind decides to foul things up on this beautiful and wonderful planet of ours, Nature and the designs in Nature continue on! No matter how much greed, cheating and violence mankind inflicts on itself, no matter how much God’s gift to us of reason is neglected by us, Nature is unaffected and continues its steady progress! Natural occurrences and realities such as the equinox remind us of this fact as does this quote from Thomas Paine‘s outstanding book The Age of Reason:
 
“It is only in the CREATION that all our ideas and conceptions of a word of God can unite. The Creation speaketh an universal language, independently of human speech or human language, multiplied and various as they may be. It is an ever-existing original, which every man can read. It cannot be forged; it cannot be counterfeited; it cannot be lost; it cannot be altered; it cannot be suppressed. It does not depend upon the will of man whether it shall be published or not; it publishes itself from one end of the earth to the other. It preaches to all nations and to all worlds; and this word of God reveals to man all that is necessary for man to know of God.”

 The memos, written by Justice Department lawyers in May 2005, provide the legal rationale for waterboarding, head slapping and other rough tactics used by the CIA. One senior Obama official, who like others interviewed for this story requested anonymity because of the issue’s sensitivity, said the memos were “ugly” and could embarrass the CIA. Other officials predicted they would fuel demands for a “truth commission” on torture.

According to the administration official, ex-CIA director Michael Hayden was “furious” about the prospect of disclosure and tried to intervene directly with Obama officials. But the White House has sided with Holder. (White House, Justice and CIA spokesmen all declined to comment.)

GOT A QUESTION? ASK A EXPERT…

REPORTERS, TALK SHOW HIP SHOOTERS, POLITICIANS  AND MANY PREACHERS STRIVE FOR CONTROVERSY TO MAKE US CONFUSED AND AFRAID SO THAT WE WILL LISTEN TO, VOTE FOR, OR GIVE OR SEND THEM MONEY.  THEY SPEAK FOR PROFIT, NOT TRUTH.  THEY WANT US TO BE AFRAID OF EVERYONE ELSE BUT THEMSELVES.
 
We want to hear from the experts concerning the economy, don’t we?  Our president has gathered together leading economists that are experts and successful in that field to advise him on the best course of action for now.  DOESN’T IT MAKE SENSE THAT WHEN WE HAVE A PROBLEM WE GO TO THE EXPERIENCED EXPERTS IN THAT FIELD FOR ADVICE?
 
WOULDN’T IT BE A GOOD IDEA TO CALL YOUR CONGRESSMEN AND TELL THEM TO FOLLOW THE ADVICE OF THE PRESIDENT’S LEADING ECONOMIC EXPERTS?

Pork, Jews, Christians

Thanks so much Daniel. You are wise beyond your years. Have we in our trying to hang on to the old testament teachings hindered the good news of Jesus Christ? Did Jesus Christ give us a revelation contradictory to and above the teachings of the OT law? Didn’t Jesus cleanse away all of that condemnation of the law for us to live under the forgiveness, mercy, and grace that Jesus revealed to us as the Word of God? Can it be that the chosen people have moved from the Jews to “All who love God with their whole being and their neighbors as themselves have eternal life” and are the chosen ones of God? Wasn’t St. Paul converted to this on the road to Damascus? Didn’t Jesus say that we can’t pour new wine into old wine skins? The sad thing Daniel is that we have so many preachers and teachers keeping Jesus on the cross of the Law instead of the resurrection through the HOLY SPIRIT (the 2nd coming which is already happening?). We helped Israel re-establish their country, but they did not keep the agreement. The Palestinians were to have certain boundaries in which to build their own country which the Jews have overridden.

GOD’S PEOPLE ARE THOSE WHO LOVE GOD WITH THEIR WHOLE BEING AND THEIR NEIGHBORS AS THEMSELVES. GOD IS NOT RACIST, AS ST. PAUL STATED.

Daniel, there is so much history I have researched over the years to find God’s will that can’t presented in one email. I know you will search to know the truth and the truth will set you free. Thanks, I think its unbelievable that things can’t get done without pork spending. Here we are with over 8% unemployment, and people losing jobs. That just shows the greed that is there no matter what issue congress is dealing with. I was talking with another Christian brother last night about the issues. We brought up the issue that; a lot of athiest and the rest of the world believe that the Bible can’t relate to the issues of today. What’s ironic is that everything that our country struggles with, homosexual, sex,greed, racism etc. all existed in the biblical time. “There’s nothing new under the sun.”

At the same time our founding fathers did the best they could to set up the constitution under biblical standards. I was reading a passage today out of a daily positive thinking book.

It starts off with LEVITICUS 19:1-2. Then says “Think what might be accomplished in the United States if only a few of the best young people among us would have the revolutionary spirit their forefathers had and would determine, This great fair land shall not be destroyed. We’ll make it clean, so that high leadership for the future may be certain and sure. If all the men and women in this country who profess belief in God would live clean lives and would set those lives against the decay of our time, they would be contributing to a moral revolution. That is what built this country’s splendor, power and prestige” I didn’t mean to make it this long, but I thought it was important.

Re: PORK IN THE NEW BUDGET IS ONLY 2% OF THE TOTAL BUDGET… Where did you get this information? That is a little hard=2 0to believe.. I don’t think our corrupt government is unselfish enough to only have 2% pork. I was reading a statement made by a Chinese spokesman today saying, that the president of China and U.S. President have had good conversations on the phone. They also said that both presidents are looking for ways to improve China, U.S. relations. Which have been rocky here recently. This is crucial, because I believe China plays a big role in our economic recovery. It is also crucial, because of tensions with North Korea. I think this is one of the most important challenges to our president. Both countries need to respect eachothers cultural and policy differences. It’s a bad day for the rest of the world if the U.S. and China don’t get along.

STATEMENT AND RESPONSE TO WHAT IS REALLY HAPPENING TO OUR ECONOMY?

In case you are still a little uncertain about how the financial “crisis” came about, this little story will help you understand the nature of the beast.
 
 
 This explains the financial crisis in easy terms.
 
Heidi is the proprietor of a bar in Berlin. In order to increase sales, she decides to allow her loyal customers – most of whom are unemployed alcoholics – to drink now but pay later. She keeps track of the drinks consumed on a ledger (thereby granting her customers loans). 
Word gets around and as a result increasing numbers of customers flood into Heidi’s bar. 
Taking advantage of her customers’ freedom from immediate payment constraints, Heidi increases her prices for wine and beer, the most-consumed beverages. Her sales volume increases massively.
 
A young and dynamic customer service consultant at the local bank recognizes these customer debts as valuable future assets and increases Heidi’s borrowing limit.
 
He sees no reason for undue concern since he has the debts of the alcoholics as collateral.
 
At the bank’s corporate  headquarters, expert bankers transform these customer assets into DRINKBONDS, ALKBONDS and PUKEBONDS. These securities are then traded on markets worldwide. No one really understands what these abbreviations mean and how the securities are guaranteed. Nevertheless, as their prices continuously climb, the securities become top-selling items.
 
One day, although the prices are still climbing, a risk manager (subsequently of course fired due his negativity) of the bank decides that slowly the time has come to demand payment of the debts incurred by the drinkers at Heidi’s bar.
 
However they cannot pay back the debts.
 
Heidi cannot fulfil her loan obligations and claims bankruptcy.
 
DRINKBOND and ALKBOND drop in price by 95 %. PUKEBOND performs better, stabilizing in price after dropping by 80 %.
 
The suppliers of Heidi’s bar, having granted her generous payment due dates and having invested in the  securities are faced with a new situation. Her wine supplier claims bankruptcy, her beer supplier is taken over by a competitor.
 
The bank is saved by the Government following dramatic round-the-clock consultations by leaders from the governing political parties.
 
The funds required for this purpose are obtained by a tax levied on the non-drinkers.
 

A RESPONSE:

Very interesting.  You could also include the greed of our politicians, the relaxing of controls on the free market by our previous administration which in time of crisis encouraged us to spend more when the safest plan for us was to save more, the rewarding of companies to outsource overseas, the raping of our social security fund by Congress borrowing funds from it, AND MOST OF ALL, ELECTING POLITICIANS WHO ARE OPPOSITE OUR FOREFATHERS.  
 
MOST OF OUR FOREFATHERS KNEW AT LEAST 2 LANGUAGES, STUDIED AND UNDERSTOOD WORLD GOVERNMENTS AND HISTORY, LOCAL GOVERNMENT, CULTURE AND FAMILY HISTORY, WORKED PART-TIME, AND LOOKED OUT FOR THE COMMON PERSON.
 
“IF WE DON’T KNOW OUR HISTORY WE WILL REPEAT IT.” 
 
Thank God our forefathers, doctors, and scientists built their theories on the history of their predecessors.
 
The problem with no child left behind is:
 
    1) We don’t fund it
    2) Besides reading, writing and arithmetic they need to understand (history) how we got here             and
    3) They need to be supported and required to accumulate this knowledge.
