ON BEING AWARE OF THE UNSEEN IN AND AROUND US…..

The more we become aware of our internal being the more we sense the ETERNAL BEING THAT LIVES IN ALL OF US. It’s similar to that feeling we have with a child, a close friend, a pet, etc (someone with whom we have fond feelings).

We have a strong desire to take care of that one just as the ETERNAL ONE wants to take care of us. Just be open to that PRESENCE and day by day you will sense this POWER AND LOVE FOR YOU MORE AND MORE-mackie.

Albert Einstein‘s quip that ‘God does not play dice with the universe’ was about quantum physics, not a statement of faith. But he did ponder the relationship between science and religion and his sense of ‘the order deeply hidden behind everything.’ We explore Einstein’s wisdom on mystery, eternity,…

HALF TRUTHS, LIES, ect. Believed by non thinkers VS FACTS…

My comments from reliable sources and history to an article written by an opinionated person sent to me by a friend.

Barack Obama is the best thing that has happened to America in the last 100 years. Truly, he is the savior of America ‘s future. (No, it would be FDR in the last 100 yrs.)  Despite the fact that he has some of the lowest approval ratings among recent presidents (No,it’s about average), history will see Barack Obama as the source of America ‘s resurrection. Barack Obama has plunged the country into levels of debt that we could not have previously imagined (NO, WW I, THE GREAT DEPRESSION, WW II, VIETNAM, ETC., WERE MUCH WORSE AND WERE NOT IMAGINED); his efforts to nationalize health care (ALREADY HELPING THOSE WHO REALLY NEEDED IT) have been met with fierce (BY A FEW) resistance nationwide.

TARP bailouts and stimulus spending (TARP APPROVED AND STIMULUS SUPPORTED BY BUSH) have shown little positive effect on the national economy (NO, IT HAS CUT THE HORROR OF WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN BY THE DO NOTHING OPPOSITION IN HALF); unemployment is unacceptably high ( and looks to remain that way for most of a decade; legacy entitlement programs have ballooned to unsustainable levels (TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT ONES WHO WOULD HAVE SUFFERED MUCH MORE), and there is a seething anger (BY A FEW) in the populace.

That’s why Barack Obama is such a good thing for America.  (AN ACCURATE HISTORY WILL TELL).

Surely there was waste. More accountability and regulation is needed by all (including our serves, schools, churches, businesses, corporations, governments, THE PENTAGON AND MILITARY COMPLEX, THE ENVIRONMENT, etc.).

BUT, THANK GOD SO FAR IN AMERICA, THE MAJORITY REACHES OUT (sometimes slowly, wastefully, feebly, etc) TO ALL PEOPLE TO HELP THEM HAVE LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.

It is truly a never ending story.  More later,-mackie

IF ONLY WE HAD LISTENED TO IKE AND GHW BUSH

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.

Dwight D Eisenhower

Dwight Eisenhower’s presidency is probably better remembered less for what he did than for what he said while heading for the exit. In a nationally televised address on January 17, 1961, only four days before John F. Kennedy’s inaugural, Eisenhower warned of the dangers of “undue influence” exerted by the “military-industrial complex.” He cautioned that maintaining a large, permanent military establishment was “new in the American experience,” and suggested that an “engaged citizenry” offered the only effective defense against the “misplaced power” of the military-industrial lobby.

We don’t want an America that is closed to the world.

What we want is a world that is open to America.

George H. W. Bush

“Whose life would be on my hands as the commander-in-chief because I, unilaterally, went beyond the international law, went beyond the stated mission, and said we’re going to show our macho?
We’re going into Baghdad. We’re going to be an occupying power — America in an Arab land — with no allies at our side. It would have been disastrous. We don’t gain the size of our victory by how many innocent kids running away — even though they’re bad guys — that we can slaughter. … We’re American soldiers; we don’t do business that way.”
