WHY WE RESPOND TO ANIMALS

Since ancient times there has been a relationship between humans and animals. Early on human beings would gather and live together for security and finding food to eat. Male tribes (from which we came) would go out looking for and killing wild animals for meat to eat. As the male tribes carried the killed animals back to their caves or huts, they noticed that the younger animals (children of those killed) would follow after them to be close to their parents, not realizing that those who beget them were now dead. After all the meat was eaten they would clean their bones and bury them believing that would one day the dead would come back to life to feed them again. The tribes worshiped them as gods(for sources see below). ~mackie

Animals have a special place in the human heart. Now, researchers are reporting that creatures great and small also have a special place in our heads.

A team led by researchers at Caltech has found individual brain cells that respond when a person sees an animal, but not when that person sees another person, a place, or an object.

The cells were found in the amygdala, an almond-shaped part of the brain involved in emotions, including fear. And they responded to any kind of animal, including spiders, dogs and rodents, says Christof Koch, a researcher at Caltech and the lead author of the study, published in Nature Neuroscience.

One reason present-day humans have these cells may be because some animals posed a threat to our ancestors, Koch says. Specialized cells could have helped the brain respond quickly to danger, he says.

Koch says he was reminded of how important a quick response can be during a recent run along a mountainous trail….

SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS OUTSIDE OF HUMAN CONTROL

The phrase is used religiously and legally. The Bible and other ancient texts cite the Acts of God. Legally, there are lawsuits against God. When a cow breaks through a fence, goes out to a road and is hit by a car, it is legally called an Act of God. One can’t sue the ownerof the cow for damages, unless the driver of the car can prove that it wasn’ t an act of God, but the act of the cow owner that caused the accident. Example: if the car owner can prove the cow owner did not use proper care of maintenance the fence, the cow owner will have to pay damages to the car; unless the cow owner can prove the car owner was reckless in his driving. Sense we believe that everyone that is agrieved should have their day in court to find justice, many times it takes a long period(see #1).

ARE HURRICANES, ETC., CONSIDERED ACTS OF GOD?

The two essential ingredients in every hurricane are warm water and moist warm air. That’s why hurricanes begin in the tropics. Most Atlantic hurricanes start to take shape when thunderstorms along the west coast of Africa drift out over warm ocean waters that are at least 80 degrees Fahrenheit (27 degrees Celsius), where they encounter converging winds from around the equator.
Hurricanes start when warm, moist air from the ocean surface begins to rise rapidly, where it encounters cooler air that causes the warm water vapor to condense and to form storm clouds and drops of rain. The condensation also releases latent heat, which warms the cool air above, causing it to rise and make way for more warm humid air from the ocean below. This continuing heat exchange creates a wind pattern that spirals around a relatively calm center, or eye, like water swirling down a drain.

Some scientists believe that the increase in global warming is a result of pollution caused by humans, corporations and countries through out the world that generates more hurricanes. etc. Others believe its just natural causes of the survival of a vibrant earth.

It’s interesting: the more we find out through science the causes and effects of humans, the earth and the entire universe, the less we BLAME GOD.

WHO ARE YOU FOLLOWING? WHO OR WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?

WHO ARE YOUR LEADERS? PREACHERS? TEACHERS? POLITICIANS? GURUS? DOCTORS?

WHAT IS THEIR MOTIVATION? IS IT PRIDE, IMPRESSING OTHERS, BEING ADMIRED, WANTING MORE POWER, AUTHORITY, MONEY?

WHAT DOES YOUR PREACHER WANT OF YOU? To become a believer? To trust him in what he/she says? To believe in the Bible or to believe in God? To at least bring your offering every week so his salary can be raised? If you can’t, send it? To build a large and prosperous church that he will be given credit for and gloat in? Maybe have his own radio and television station?

OR COULD IT BE THAT HE WAS CALLED TO STUDY ALL THE ANCIENT SCRIPTURES, HUMAN NATURE, THE UNIVERSE, SCIENCE, AND SHARE WITH YOU HOW HE IS FINDING GOD SO THAT YOU CAN BE SHARING IT WITH OTHERS? MORE THAN THAT; HE DOESN’T WANT TO BE THE MIDDLE MAN BETWEEN YOU AND GOD. HE WANTS YOU TO BE AT ONE WITH GOD, NOT HIM. HE DOESN’T WORRY ABOUT MONEY OR BUILDING A PHYSICAL CHURCH. HE SEES IN YOU THE REAL CHURCH AND BY THE POWER OF HIS SPIRIT THAT WHEREVER YOU ARE GOD IS.

No matter what your belief or faith, religion or no religion; if you sense the presence of the ultimate cause of you and the entire universe and, out of your gratitude to that Spirit, you assume and want to take care of all that this Spirit (humans and nature) created, YOU ARE ON THE HIGHEST PLANE OF LIFE AND WILL SURVIVE AND OVERCOME ALL YOUR PROBLEMS AND LIVE FOREVER WITH THAT SPIRIT.

USING THIS SAME STANDARD, EVALUATE THOSE YOU BELIEVE IN AND FOLLOW, OK? GOD WANTS TO BE WITH YOU PERSONALLY (this Spirit is already with you, you just have to be aware); NOT THROUGH A MIDDLE MAN.

I heard of an old farmer who for years had difficulty leading his hogs from the pin to the slaughter house. One day he came up with the idea, “Hey, they loved sweet corn. If I throw the corn out gradually from the pin to the slaughter house they will still think I love and am nourishing them, eat along the way without realizing it end up in the slaughter house.”

It worked.

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO INDIVIDUALITY OF THINKING AND SPEECH?

MANY OF THE GREAT SPIRITUAL LEADERS OF THE PAST LEFT EVERYTHING TO SPEND TIME ALONE IN THOUGHT AND MEDITATION TO FIND TRUTH. WHERE ELSE IS THE CREATOR (SPIRIT OR CAUSE) OF THE UNIVERSE REVEALED MORE THAN IN NATURE AND HUMAN BEINGS, THE HIGHEST CREATION? WE ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN THINK. WHY AREN’T WE DOING IT?

WHERE DID ANY OF THESE GREAT SPIRITUAL LEADERS (JESUS MOST OF ALL IN MY MIND) TALK ABOUT BUILDING BUILDINGS, MONUMENTS, STATUES, ETC. WHERE DID THAT TALK ABOUT CEREMONIES AND RITUALS?

WHY HAVEN’T BELIEVERS OF THE MOST HIGH (WHOMEVER YOU THINK) UTILIZED SCHOOLS AND EMPTY BUILDINGS TO DO THEIR MINISTRIES INSTEAD OF BUILDING BUILDINGS? ARE YOU AWARE OF HOW LITTLE THE MONIES OF CHURCHES, SYNAGOGUES, ETC GO TOWARDS CARRYING OUT THEIR LEADERS’ TEACHINGS?

IT IS SAID THAT JESUS HAD NO PLACE TO LAY HIS HEAD. DO YOUR LOCAL SPIRITUAL LEADERS ADOPT THAT LIFESTYLE?

I HAVE RELIGIOUS DEGREES UP MY SPINE (THAT’S CLOSE), BUT THEY ALL TAUGHT ME THEIR DOCTRINES. WHAT ABOUT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN US AND THAT ALL OF HIS CREATION IS RELATED TO EACH ONE OF US?

IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT THE BEST WAY TO LEARN ABOUT THE CAUSE OF IT ALL IS TO STUDY OR GO TO A NON-RELIGIOUS FULLY ACCREDITED INSTITUTION THAT SEARCHES FOR FACTUAL TRUTH WITH NO RELIGIOUS BIAS.

WHY NOT SUPPORT A CHURCH THAT ACCEPTS SAINTS AND SINNERS, BELIEVERS AND NON-BELIEVERS? DO YOU KNOW ANY PASTORS THAT WILL ACCEPT NO MORE INCOME THAN THE AVERAGE OF HIS/HER/ITS FOLLOWERS? THE CREATOR SURELY MADE THEM ALL AND THAT MAKES THEM A PART OF US, DON’T YOU THINK?

HOW DO THE NEWS NETWORKS AND TALK SHOW HOSTS MAKE MONEY? BY ATTRACTING MORE LISTENERS AND VIEWERS TO THEIR PROGRAMS. HOW DO THEY DO THAT? BY STATING HALF-TRUTHS (AND WHOLE LIES) THAT NEVER COME TRUE, BUT EXCITE PEOPLE TO TUNE IN.

HOW DO MANY CHURCHES AND NON-PROFIT ORGS MAKE PROFITS? COULD IT BE THAT THEY POINT OUT DIFFERENCES BETWEEN OTHER GROUPS AND THEMSELVES AND HOW SOMEHOW THEY KNOW MORE ABOUT THE TRUTH?

I’M ALL FOR A PERSON HAVING THE RIGHT TO MAKE ALL HE CAN ON HIS OWN, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING IT OFF THE BACKS OF HIS/HER/ITS EMPLOYEES AND BANKRUPTING THEIR PENSIONS AND BENEFITS…DO YOU THINK THAT IS DEMOCRACY, BEING FAIR?

HOW CAN WE EVER HAVE A MORE FAIR ELECTION SYSTEM THAN THOSE WHO RAISE THE MOST MONEY WILL WIN THE ELECTIONS? COULD IT BE THAT WE DO AWAY WITH THE 2 PARTY SYSTEM, LET ANYONE RUN FOR OFFICE AND LIMIT THEM ALL TO A SAME LEVEL OF FINANCES?

I WON’T EVEN MENTION THE CORRUPTION OF LOBBYISTS WHO PAY POLITICIANS NOT TO LISTEN TO YOU.
